/ ī – ‘fē – əs / (noun):  a rare species of butterflies. A butterfly is the symbol of change, the soul, creativity, freedom, joy and colour. Their power is transformation, shape shifting and soul evolution. The eyes of butterflies consist of thousands of individual lenses. This gives them the gift of being able to see a single image clearly.

The inaugural 2015 IIFF, successfully laid the groundwork by presenting patrons with an intoxicating blend of emotionally charged, thought provoking and culturally aware cinematic shorts, documentaries and feature length films.  Our 7th annual film festival will be held virtually on June 25-26th, 2021. IIFF is a 2 day event that encompasses Film, Music, Art and Fashion.  

The 7th Annual IIFF presents a platform for film enthusiasts and media professionals to experience this two-day extravaganza. In addition to the engaging festival activities, attendees have the chance to take in some amazing films from around the world! Hopefully in 2022 Filmmakers will have the opportunity to head up to neighboring cities along the North Coast of Jamaica for some of the best beaches and dining in the Caribbean. World-class food and drink and fantastic parties every night all add up to one of the most welcoming, filmmaker-friendly festivals on the circuit, IIFF.
